CCNA
Course structure
CCNA Courses, semesters 1 through 4 of the Cisco Networking Academy Program (CNAP), equivalent to 280 hours of instructions, provide students with a basic foundation in computer networking. Students who successfully complete this portion of the program are fully prepared to earn the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA™) certification.

Assessment
Assessment is by a combination of continuous assessment through end of chapter multiple choice multiple answer tests, final on-line test, plus practical skills examination for each semester.
Career and progression opportunities
Students must pass each Semester before proceeding to the next one and on successful completion of Semester 4 a Certificate of Competence is awarded by Cisco. Students then can take the industry certification (CCNA) at VUE testing centers (www.vue.com/cisco/). Students who achieve high proficiency level in Academy examination will be eligible for a discount on the fee of the industry examination.
